Get Set Cook is my food blog. Here, I share simple and tasty recipes from my journey through different cultures and kitchens.

I’m a food lover who enjoys cooking and sharing recipes. I learned from my mom, grandmothers, and in-laws. This blog helps me pass on what I know.

My daughters, nieces, and friends kept asking me for recipes. I sent them voice notes at first, but I needed a better way to share. That’s how this blog started!

I was born into a Hindu Khatri family and later married into a Muslim Khatri family. I learned both styles of cooking. Plus, living in the UAE and the UK exposed me to even more flavors.

Because no one really cooks alone! Every dish we make carries tips, tricks, and wisdom from the people who taught us.

Mughlai food is rich, flavorful, and full of history. I learned these dishes from my mother-in-law, who was an expert.
