PRAWN TAGLIATELLI
Ribbons of pasta with prawns in a rich creamy sauce seasoned with Italian flavours
- 500 g Tagliatelle (or any of your favourite pasta)
- 300 g prawns (raw, cleaned and deveined)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 200 g cherry tomatoes
- 2 tbsp chopped garlic
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 10-12 fresh Basil leaves (if not available use 1 ½ tsp dried basil)
- 300 g fresh cream
- 1 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
Seasonings:
- ½ tsp chilli flakes (optional)
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp dried oregano
- Salt to taste
For garnishing (optional)
- Olive oil
- Dried parmesan
- Chilli flakes
